Orya Maqbool Jan

Orya Maqbool Jan is a writer, poet, columnist and civil servant from Pakistan. He has written many Urdu columns for various Urdu newspapers in Pakistan. He has received different national awards.

Orya Maqbool Jan Biography

He is a Pakistani writer, columnist and poet. He is also a CSS officer. He was born in Gujrat, Pakistan. He belongs to the Gujjar family. He writes a column for the newspaper Roznama 92 News entitle Harf-e-Raaz. He wrote five Pakistani dramas for Pakistani television. He received the best playwriter of the decade.

He has also served as Director General of the Walled City Project in Lahore, and as Executive Director of ECO, Tehran Cultural Institute and Information Secretary of the Punjab Government. He is also a member of the National Academic Council of the Institute of Political Studies Islamabad. He wrote five dramas for Pakistani television. This is his list of dramas
